DHAKA, June 28, 2025 (BSS) - The written examination for lawyer enrollment
under the Bangladesh Bar Council was held today from 9 am to 1 pm across 17
centers, including 11 on the Dhaka University (DU) campus.

To ensure smooth conduct of the examination, 50 judicial magistrates were
deployed at the centers. Additionally, five substitute magistrates were kept
on standby to step in if any assigned officers were unable to perform their
duties due to unavoidable circumstances.

A total of 13,258 candidates who passed the Bar Council's previous MCQ exam
took part in this written examination, alongside those who were unsuccessful
in the last written test.

It is worth noting that aspiring lawyers must pass a three-stage examination
process-- MCQ, written and Viva (oral examination)-- administered by the
Bangladesh Bar Council to receive official enrollment certification.
