KHULNA, June 28, 2025 (BSS) - The Chief Coordinator of the Ganosamhati Andolon Jonayed Saki said that the interim government should prioritize justice and reform to ensure a proper environment for a free and fair election.

He was addressing an organizational meeting organized by its Khulna District Committee for selected activists this noon at the Khulna office of the party as the chief guest.

Saki expressed concern over the current state of law and order, saying it remained a major source of anxiety for the public. Issues like mob violence, politically motivated lawsuits and police inaction in many cases undermine the achievements of past people's movements.

He called on Ganosamhati Andolon to continue forging unity among the people and to strengthen the organization for establishing a pro-people government.

District Convener Munir Chowdhury Sohel presided over the meeting.

District joint convener Md. Oliar Rahman Sheikh, members Tipu Sultan and Nadira Begum, Khalishpur Thana Convener Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Abhaynagar Upazila Convener Rafeza Begum and Member Secretary Shams Sarfin Saman, among others, spoke.
