BOGURA, June 29, 2025 (BSS) - Rezaul Hasan Ranu and Kalam Azad have been elected as president and general secretary respectively of Bogura Press Club.

Election Management Committee chairman Matiul Islam Sadi declared the result.

It is mentionable that elected general secretary Kalam Azad is the Bogura correspondent of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS).

Rahat Ritu, Mir Sajjat Ali Santosh and Mirza Selim have been elected as vice presidents while Tofazzal Hossain and Saiful Islam have been elected as joint general secretaries.

The other office bearers are - Rezaul Haque Babu has been elected as office secretary while Tanvil Alam Riman as treasurer, Sheikh Shahed as cultural affairs secretary, Abdur Rahim as sports secretary and Zafar Ahmed Milan as library secretary.

Besides, Mohsin Ali Raju, Advocate Abdul Mannan, Abdur Rahim Bogra, Shamim Ahmed, Zahurul Islam, Muktar Sheikh, Golzar Hossain Mitu, Shaheduzzaman Siraj Bijoy and Harun Or Rashid Talukder have been elected as executive members.
