DHAKA, June 30, 2025 (BSS) - The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) rescued a female
HSC examinee who went missing from the capital's Bashundhara Residential Area on
June 26, from Savar on Sunday night.

A team of RAB-4 rescued the missing student after conducting an
operation in Savar area on the night of June 29, said a RAB press release.

She went out from their residence at Bashundhara Residential Area
for her Mirpur Government Bangla College examination centre
at 8 am on June 26 and did not return home since then.

When she did not return home even after the examination, her family members
went to the exam center to inquire.

After talking to the authorities, they learned that she did not appear at the
exam that day. After searching everywhere possible, her family filed a
general diary (GD) with Bhatara Police Station.

Upon filing of the GD, the RAB started a shadow investigation to unravel the
mystery of the incident and conducted a drive in Savar area and rescued the
victim.

According to the rescued student, her HSC exam was on June 26, 2025. Shortly
after she left home around 8 am to appear in the exam at Mirpur Government
Bangla College Center, a woman came to talk to her.

At one point in the conversation, the woman held some objects in front of her
nose, causing the girl to faint. After that, she cannot remember anything
else. When she regained sense, she found herself inside a room.

The rescued HSC examinee was handed over to her family after completing the
initial legal proceedings, RAB said.
