RANGPUR, June 30, 2025 (BSS) – The month-long programme of National Citizen party (NCP) to mark the anniversary of the '2024 July Uprising' will begin with visit to martyred Abu Sayeed's grave in village Babanpur under Pirganj upazila of Rangpur tomorrow.
 
The programme titled 'Desh Garte July Padayatra' will run from July 1 to July 30 this year.
 
Chief coordinator of Rangpur metropolitan NCP Sadia Farzana Dina disclosed said this at a press conference here today.
 
In the press conference, Sadia Farzana Dina said, “July Uprising is not just a day of movement for us, but it is a symbol of our sacrifice, conviction and dream. A year has passed, and some achievements and challenges have come during this time.” 
 
At the press conference, chief coordinator of Rangpur district NCP Asadullah Al Ghalib gave details of the NCP's programme in Rangpur district on July 1.
 
NCP central convener Nahid Islam, member-secretary Md Akhtar Hossen, south region chief organizer Hasnat Abdullah, north region chief organizer Md Sarjis Alam, joint chief organizer Abu Sayeed Leon will be present.
