MUNSHIGANJ, July 1, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today placed Haji Mohammad Faisal Biplab, former MP of Munshiganj-3 constituency, on a seven-day remand in a murder case.
Judge of Chief Judicial Magistrate Court-1 Md. Ashiqur Rahman passed the order this morning as police produced him before the court and pleaded to place him on a 10-day remand in the case.
Investigation officer of the case Sajib Dey, Sadar Police Station Inspector (Investigation), said that the court granted a 7-day remand to Haji Mohammad Faisal Biplab, the main accused in Sajal murder case.
Munshiganj Police Superintendent Muhammad Shamsul Alam Sarkar said that Mohammad Faisal Biplab is an accused in six cases, including three murder cases.
Faisal Biplab was arrested from an apartment in Dhaka's Monipur area on June 22.
