TANGAIL, Aug 28, 2025 (BSS) –BNP Vice-Chairman and former Deputy Minister of Education Abdus Salam Pintu today said only an elected government can bring the country to an orderly state.

"Many are trying to foil the upcoming national election. They are trying to delay it, but you must remember that only an elected government can bring the country to an orderly state. Without election, the situation of this country will be deteriorated further,” he said.

He said, "No matter who conspires and plots against election, the people of Bangladesh are at least aware. We, along with the people, will resist that conspiracy to ensure the election is held on time.”

In this connection, he said the interim government is determined to hold the election at the correct time. We will remain aware in this regard.
