Mirza Fakhrul mourns death of Mahmud Ullah

DHAKA, Aug 31, 2025 (BSS) - BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir 
today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of a retired 
headmaster Mahmud Ullah, father of noted orthopedic surgeon Dr Shah Muhammad 
Aman Ullah also a member of Ziaur Rahman Foundation (ZRF)'s board of 
directors.

In a condolence message, he said, "I am also deeply saddened and distressed 
like his family and neighbors due to the death of Mahmud Ullah. Pious and 
benevolent deceased Mahmud Ullah was very much respected to his neighbors."

BNP secretary general prayed for eternal peace of his departed soul and 
conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family of Mahmud Ullah.

Mahmud Ullah died of old-age complications on Saturday evening while 
undergoing treatment in the city's Comfort Hospital at the age of 79.
