Jamaat donates Tk one crore to NICRH

DHAKA, Sept 1, 2025 (BSS) – Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Dhaka city north Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin today said peoples welfare is the main objective of the Jamaat politics.

He said this while addressing as the chief guest at a function held for handing over Taka one crore to the National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital (NICRH) at Mohakhali this afternoon.

Selim Uddin said the Jamaat-e-Islami is a mass people oriented and welfare-minded political party, working for motivating people to build their life in light of Quran and Hadith.

At the same time, he said Jamaat also give training to people to build their character in an honest way. 

Jamaat nominated Dhaka-17 constituency’s candidate Dr SM Khaliduzzaman spoke as the special guest while Banani thana Ameer Mizanur Rahman Khan moderated the programme.

Director of the Cancer Hospital Dr Shahjahan Kabir gave the welcome address.
