Anti-terrorism civic rally held at Uttara's Mugdho Manch

DHAKA, Nov 13, 2025 (BSS) - An anti-terrorism civic rally was held today at Mugdho Manch in the city's Uttara with the participation of the families of July martyrs, wounded July fighters, and representatives from social, political, and civic groups.

Speakers at the rally called for a firm stance against the ongoing violence and terrorist acts by the Awami League (AL), whose activities have been banned.

They said the fugitive Awami League does not align with the nation's religion, culture, or humanitarian values. 

Participants took an oath to build a "terror-free Bangladesh" and called upon both the government and citizens to play responsible roles in ensuring peace and stability.

Principal Ashraful Haque, Joint Chief Organizer of UP Bangladesh Abdul Aziz, Convener of July Revolutionary Alliance (JRA) Saleh Mahmud as well as members of various martyr families from Uttara, spoke at the programme, among others. 

JRA spokesperson Fantasir Mahmud conducted the rally.
