DHAKA, April 5, 2026 (BSS) - Newly appointed Attorney General (AG) Barrister Md. Ruhul Quddus Kazal today paid tributes to Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and his wife former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia by laying wreaths at their graves at Zia Udyan in the capital this afternoon.

He visited the mausoleum complex at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar and also offered prayers for Ziaur Rahman, Khaleda Zia, and Arafat Rahman Koko. 

Additional attorney generals, deputy attorney generals, and assistant attorney generals were present on the occasion.

On March 25, Kazal, a senior advocate of the Supreme Court, was appointed as the country’s 18th Attorney General.
