Public holiday in 3 hill districts on Chaitra Sankranti

DHAKA, April 05, 2026 (BSS)- The government has declared public holiday in three hill districts- Rangamati, Khagrachhari and Bandarban on April 13 on the occasion of Chaitra Sankranti.

The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard today.

Apart from the three hill districts, other concerned communities in other parts of the country will enjoy optional holiday on this day, the notification said.
