Mirza Abbas’s Assistant Private Secretary Mizanur Rahman Sohel said that Abbas’s condition has improved compared to previous days and now his condition is better than before.

“Mirza Abbas is receiving therapy every day and remains under full care of the doctors,” he told BSS over the phone from Singapore today.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir along with his wife Rahat Ara Begum visited Abbas at the hospital this noon. They inquired about his health and spent some time with him, Sohel added.

Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and BNP Standing Committee Member Nazrul Islam Khan are currently in Singapore for medical purposes.

Earlier on March 15, Mirza Abbas, also Political Adviser to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, was airlifted to Singapore General Hospital from Dhaka.
