67 arrested for various crimes in DMP Tejgaon Division drive

DHAKA, April 10, 2026 (BSS) - A total of 67 individuals involved in various 
crimes were arrested in the past 24 hours in a drive conducted by the Tejgaon 
Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

The arrests were made during a regular operation carried out on Friday.

According to sources from the Tejgaon Division, among those arrested, 7 were 
in regular cases, 10 in previous cases, and 4 were accused under arrest 
warrants. 

Additionally, 46 individuals were arrested under the DMP Ordinance. Legal 
proceedings against the arrested persons are currently underway.

Police stated that such operations will continue to maintain law and order 
and curb criminal activities.
