‘Farmer Card’ distributed in Jamalpur

JAMALPUR, April 14, 2026 (BSS) – ‘Farmer Card’ has been distributed among the farmers in Islampur of the district this morning.

State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism M Rashiduzzaman Millat handed over the cards to farmers at a programme held at Eid Gah field in Napiter Char area in the Upazila after inauguration of the card by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

During the card distribution M Rashiduzzaman Millat said, “We are continuing to implement our electoral pledges just after assuming power. Every genuine farmer will gradually get the Farmer Card in a transparent way, he said, adding that farmers will get benefit directly through the card without interference of any middle man. 

Members of Parliament, AE Sultan Mahmud Babu , Mostafizur Rahman Babul and Advocate Shah Md Wares Ali Mamun were present at the meeting as special guests.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Yusuf Ali presided over the meeting.
