DHAKA, April 14, 2026 (BSS)- Police today arrested 16 people for involvement in various crime from Zatrabari area.

According to a DMP press release, police raided several crime-prone areas under Zatrabari police station and arrested 16 people on various charges.

The arrestees are: Md. Sajjat Hossain, 29, Md. Sayem Hossain, 23, Jony Chandra, 46, Md. Selim, 58, Md. Samrat Molla alias Jalal, 28, Zahid, 22, Mazharul Islam, 36, Anisur Rahman, 46, Md. Rakibul Hossain, 36, Md. Shakil, 21, Md. Fahim, 20, Shamim, 23, Md. Ibrahim, 18, Md. Nahid Hasan, 26, Shaheen Sheikh, 30, and Md. Maharab Ali Sumon, 26. 

Among the arrestees, four were shown arrested under regular case, five under old cases and mobile court arrested the remaining seven people.

The arrestees have been presented before the court following the procedures.
