DHAKA, April 19, 2026 (BSS) - The Chief Justice (CJ) of Supreme Court (SC) of 
Bangladesh on January 6, 2026 nominated Justice Md Rezaul Haque as Judge-in-
Chamber-1 and Justice Farah Mahbub as Judge-in-Chamber-2 to dispose of 
emergency matters of the Appellate Division until further orders.

A notification, signed by Appellate Division Registrar Ashiqul Khabir, issued 
today specified the schedules of the two chamber courts.

According to the notification, Chamber Judge Court-1 will hold hearings from 
2:15 pm on Sundays and Thursdays while Chamber Judge Court-2 will hear cases 
from 2:30 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays until further orders.

However, Justice Farah Mahbub will hold hearings at Chamber Judge Court-2 
from 2:30 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday this week only.
