DHAKA, April 25, 2026 (BSS) – Police today arrested 28 suspected criminals during special operations from the city’s Hazaribagh area. 

“They were involved in various crimes under Hazaribagh police station area,” said a press release issued by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) media division.

The arrested are Abu Bakr (25), Md Jaglu Mia (49), Md Farooq Ali (35), Md Sagar (20), Md Alvi (24), Md Rubel (33), Md Jilani (28), Md Yamin (19), Md Sohail Rana (35), Md Zahid Hossain (32), Niloy (23), Md Akash (23), Md Fajre Rabbi (32), Md Sagar (32), Md Raihan (26), Md Rakib (20), Md Shariful Islam (40), Md Aman (45), Md Johnny (25), Md Kamal (21), Md Shah Jalal (28), Md Shamim (38),  Md Abdul Majeed (45), Md Anwar Hossain (26), Md Abul Hossain (48), Md Jasim Bepari (40), Md Al Amin (40) and Md Hanif (37).

According to Hazaribagh police, the arrested have been produced before the court.
