DHAKA, April 29, 2026 (BSS) - The Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested two people, including a woman alleged drug trader and seized 30 kilograms of cannabis from the capital's airport area on Tuesday night.

The arrestees were identified as Lucky Akhter, 34, along with a minor who was also involved in the incident.

A team of CTTC special action group, acting on a tip-off, conducted a raid at the Airport Railway Station area around 9:30 pm and recovered the cannabis from their possession, said a DMP press release today.
