CHATTOGRAM, May 16, 2026 (BSS) - Three state ministers today visited Karnafuly Dry Dock Limited (KDDL), a key establishment in Chattogram's shipping and industrial sector.

The visiting ministers were State Minister for Shipping Md Razib Ahsan, State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Mir Shahe Alam, and State Minister for Land and Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin.

The visit took place this morning as part of their district tour.

During the visit, the ministers inspected various facilities, ongoing activities, development projects and infrastructure of the institution.

They also exchanged views with the authorities on the overall operations and future plans of Karnaphuli Dry Dock.

Among others, Chattogram Port Authority Member (Harbour and Marine) Commodore Ahmed Amin Abdullah and Karnaphuli Dry Dock Limited Managing Director Engineer MA Rashid were present.
