Ferry services between Paturia-Daulatdia resume

MANIKGANJ, May 26, 2026 (BSS) - Ferry services between Paturia-Daulatdia has resumed after one hour suspension due nor'wester lashes over Padma and Jamuna river routes, said Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) Paturia Ghat sources.

BIWTC Paturia Ghat Deputy General Manager Abdus Salam said the ferry movement resumed at 12:15 pm today after one hour suspension.

He said all the ferries are now plying normally but with cautious as strong was lashes over the areas.

Till filing of the report at 5:40pm, there was no rush of vehicles and passengers, he noted.
