DHAKA, July 2, 2026 (BSS) - Police today arrested three people in connection with the fatal hacking of BNP leader Md Abul Bashar Badsha in the Nobodoy Housing area of Adabor here.

The arrestees, identified as Shoaib, Arman and Nayan, were arrested during separate drives conducted by Adabor Police Station in different areas of Mohammadpur. 

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Police for the Mohammadpur Zone Jewel Rana confirmed the arrests to BSS.

The arrestees are currently in police custody, he added.
