Govt working persistently to ensure quality education: Yasser

DHAKA, July 10, 2026 (BSS) - State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Yasser Khan Choudhury today said the government is working relentlessly to ensure quality education across the country.

"Alongside the development of modern educational infrastructure, the government is prioritizing to ensure quality education to build a prosperous and self-reliant Bangladesh," he said.

The state minister made the remarks while inaugurating the newly constructed academic building of Dattapur Government Primary School at Nandail in Mymensingh today.

He said ensuring an improved learning environment for students is one of the government's top priorities. 

"Infrastructure development at schools across the country is continuing to establish a quality education system. At the same time, initiatives have been taken to provide teachers with training and ensure the timely distribution of necessary educational materials," he added.

Later, he joined an exchange of views with cucumber farmers in Nandail. 

Addressing the meeting, the state minister said farmers are the driving force of the country's economy and the government is working relentlessly to ensure fair prices for farmers' produce, improve the marketing system and expand the use of modern technology in agriculture.

Local public representatives, officials of different government departments, teachers, farmers and other distinguished persons were present.
