Rizvi expresses grief over death of Agriculture Minister's mother

DHAKA, Sept 8, 2026 (BSS) - BNP Acting Secretary General and Prime Minister's Political Adviser Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi today expressed deep grief and sorrow at the death of Amina Begum, mother of Agriculture, Fisheries and Livestock Minister Mohammad Amin Ur Rashid Yasin. 

Amina Begum passed away at her residence this afternoon due to old age. She was 103 years old at the time of her death.

In a condolence message, Rizvi said, "I am deeply saddened by the death of Amina Begum, as are her bereaved family members."

The veteran BNP leader said the deceased was known and respected among neighbours as a pious and benevolent woman. "As a principled woman, she raised her children to be well-educated and established in life," he added.

Rizvi prayed that Almighty Allah grants the departed soul a place in Jannat  and gives the bereaved family members the strength to bear the loss.

Rizvi sought forgiveness for the departed soul and expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, relatives, well-wishers and admirers.
