DHAKA, Feb 5, 2025 (BSS) -Dhaka University 'Inter-Department (Student) Cricket competition' has begun at the university central play ground today (Wednesday).

Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (administration)and President of the Board of Sports Prof.Dr. Saima Haque Bidisha inaugurated the competition as the chief guest.

University Cricket Committee President Associate Professor Muhammad Mahbub Qaiser along with provosts of various halls, resident teachers and students were also present in the opening ceremony with Acting Director of Physical Education Center SM Zakaria in the chair.

A total of 82 departments of the university are taking part in the meet.
