DHAKA, Feb 6, 2025 (BSS)-The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will recognize 
Tamim Iqbal's contribution to the country's cricket by presenting him special 
mementoes prior to the presentation ceremony of BPL final tomorrow (Friday) 
at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

Considered as the best batter, the country has ever produced, Tamim Iqbal has 
recently announced his retirement from international cricket after grabbing 
almost all batting records by a Bangladeshi batter. 

But he is continuing the domestic cricket and led his side Fortune Barishal 
to final in the BPL this season.

Barishal will take on Chittagong Kings tomorrow in the final of the BPL in a 
bid to retain the title. Last year, too, they won the title by the astute 
leadership of Tamim Iqbal.
