Bangladesh women’s football team take on UAE tomorrow

DHAKA, Feb 25, 2025 (BSS)-The Bangladesh women’s national 
football team take on host United Arab Emirates (UAE) national 
women’s football team in the first of FIFA Int’l Friendly 
match scheduled to be held tomorrow at the UAE Football 
Association (Pitch 1).

The match kicks off at 9.30 pm (BST). 

Earlier, Bangladesh eve football team, led by defender Afeida 
Khandakar, reached UAE safely this (Tuesday)  morning to 
participate in two FIFA Int’l friendly matches against the UAE 
women’s national football team.

After lunch, the team received an encouraging visit from Fahad 
Karim, the vice president of the Bangladesh Football 
Federation (BFF). He met with the players at the hotel, 
offering words of motivation and support to gear up for their 
upcoming matches, according to a message received here from 
BFF this evening. 

During the visit, Fahad said he had friendly discussion with 
the girls, who are highly motivated and he hoped that they 
would play good brand of football against UAE. 

The Bangladesh team will hold their first training session at 
pitch 2 of the UAE Football Association complex to complete 
their preparation.

The women's football team will play their second friendly 
football match scheduled to be held on March 2.
