'Super Robibar' offers exclusive tickets to Hamza's Bangladesh debut game

DHAKA, May 19, 2025 (BSS)- Telecom giant Robi Axiata PLC is bringing football 
fever to its popular 'Super Robibar' campaign, offering fans a rare 
opportunity to witness history in the making. 

On May 25, Robi customers will get the chance to win exclusive premium 
tickets to the highly anticipated Bangladesh vs Singapore football match, 
said a press release here today.

The details will soon be revealed in the company's official social media 
platforms.

The game, scheduled for June 10 at the National Stadium in Dhaka, marks a 
historic moment for Bangladeshi football. International star Hamza Choudhury 
will make his home debut wearing the national jersey. 

The match is a part of the Asian Cup qualifiers and has generated immense 
excitement among fans and officials alike. 

Robi formally announced the initiative at a joint press conference with the 
Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) today (Monday) held at its corporate 
headquarters in the capital.

Senior officials from both organisations were present, including Robi's 
acting CEO M Riaz Rashid and Chief Commercial Officer Sihab Ahmad, Bangladesh 
Football Federation's (BFF) Vice-President Fahad Karim, its executive 
committee members Md. Iqbal Hossain, Md Golam Gaus, Zakir Hossain Chowdhury 
and Kamrul Hasan Hilton.
 
Robi's "Super Robibar" campaign, which began six months ago, is all about 
making Sunday more delightful for our customers," said Sihab Ahmad.

"The response has been phenomenal, and we're preparing to make this upcoming 
Super Robibar-- May 25-- truly unforgettable," he added.

Ahmad also highlighted the broader significance of the event: "Inclusion of 
global talents like Hamza and Shamit in the national team opens a new chapter 
for Bangladeshi football. We're proud to partner with BFF in creating this 
once-in-a-lifetime experience for our users."

Echoing Robi's CCO, BFF vice president Fahad Karim said: "We are incredibly 
excited to collaborate with Robi on their "Super Robibar" initiative. This 
hard-earned love and support not only inspires us to work towards a 
phenomenal show from our boys on June 10 but also makes me hopeful on even 
bigger partnerships with Robi in the future."
