DHAKA, May 19, 2025 (BSS)-Satkhira district emerged champions in inter-
district volleyball competition beating Rajshahi district by straight 3-0 
sets in the final held at Shaheed Noor Hossain National Volleyball Stadium in 
the capital today (Monday).

Besides, Chattogram district finished third in the meet defeating Jessore 
district also by 3-0 set also held at the same venue.

Ifad Group chairman Iftekhar Ahmed Titu was the chief guest in the final 
while women's volleyball sub-committee chairman Sharmin Hasan Tithi and 
National Sports Council assistant director (sports) Sajia Afrin were present 
as the special guests.

Bangladesh Volleyball Federation vice president Md Masudul Alam, its general 
secretary Bimol Ghosh Vulu, joint secretary Abdul Mumin Saddam and women's 
volleyball sub-committee secretary Md Amirul Hossain Swapan were also present 
there.
