DHAKA, May 20, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh allrounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz today left the country for Pakistan to play in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Miraz was roped in by Lahore Qalandars, a team where he will get his compatriot Shakib Al Hasan as the teammate.

The allrounder was granted No Objection Certificate (NOC) for May 22-25. Miraz was not included in Bangladesh's squad for the T20 International series against the UAE and Pakistan, making him available for the full tournament.

Lahore Qalandars had already secured their place in the Qualifiers after the win over Peshawar Zalmi by 26 runs in their last group match.

Legspinner Rishad Hossain and fast bowler Nahid Rana earlier played in the PSL before joining the Bangladesh national team for the UAE T20 series.

Lahore Qalandars will play the Eliminator game against Karachi Kings in Lahore on Thursday. Miraz is expected to be available for that match.

Meanwhile, Miraz today arrived at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) without his passport as he was scheduled to depart for Pakistan.

After realizing his mistakes, he then brought his passport through someone else.
