DHAKA, Sept 17, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh men's handball team will take on South Africa in one of the opening day matches of the 1st Commonwealth Beach Handball Championship, set to kick off tomorrow in the Maldives.
On the same day, host Maldives will face Sri Lanka, while arch-rivals India and Pakistan will square off in another high-voltage clash.
The championship features six participating teams: Bangladesh, South Africa, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, and host Maldives.
According to the schedule, Bangladesh will play their second and third matches against India and Sri Lanka on September 19, and wrap up the group stage with fixtures against Maldives and Pakistan on September 20.
Bangladesh Men's Handball Team: Salman Khan (Captain), Nahid Ali, Abdur Rouf, Khokon Mollah, Anik Pariwal, Rubel Hossain, KS Wang Marma and Nafeez Fuad.
