DHAKA, Sept 17, 2025 (BSS)- The Afghanistan Under-19 team is set to visit Bangladesh in October for a bilateral series, comprising five youth ODIs.

The series will serve both teams for their preparation for the upcoming ICC Under-19 World Cup.

The tour schedule is yet to be released but the series will run from October 25-November 10. The Afghan youngsters will also play a warm-up game ahead of the five-match series.

Bangladesh U19 players are given rest after their England tour where they drew the five-match youth ODI series 1-1. Only two matches rolled onto the ground while the rest of the three matches were washed out due to rain.

Ahead of the series against England, Bangladesh also played a match against Ireland, which too was abandoned due to persistent rain.
