DHAKA, Sept 17, 2025 (BSS)-Bangladesh will keep an eye on tomorrow's Asia Cup
contest between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan since the match will decide their
fate.

A Sri Lanka victory in the match which will be held at Sheikh Zayed Stadium
in Abu Dhabi will help Bangladesh through to the next round, called as Super
4 phase while an Afghan victory will leave them face some tough equations.

Bangladesh will watch the match from Dubai where they reached today after
completing their Abu Dhabi part.

If Bangladesh can make next round, they will play their all matches in Dubai.

Bangladesh, earlier, won their match against Afghanistan to stay alive in the
tournament.

After beating Hong Kong by seven wickets, Bangladesh tasted a six-wicket
defeat to Sri Lanka, a defeat that made an impact on their net-run-rate also.

However, Bangladesh left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed, who produced a gem of spin
bowling to help the side beat Afghanistan by eight runs, left the issue to
the destiny, saying that they won't support any team in the match between Sri
Lank and Afghanistan.

"Those who will play well, will win the game," Nasum told the reporters today
while the Bangladesh leaving Abu Dhabi for Dubai.

"I am not thinking about these things. There is no need to pray or support
for anyone else. Whatever is written in the fate, will happen. We can't
control this."
