DHAKA, Sept 19, 2025 (BSS) - The second day of the Polar Ice-Cream 29th School Handball Tournament (boys' and girls') saw decisive outcomes in 13 plate phase matches at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the capital today.

In the girls' division, Wills Little Flowers, South Point School and College (Banani), Navy College, Dhaka, St. Francis Xavier Girls' School and College, and South Point School and College (Banani) emerged victorious in their respective matches.

Meanwhile, in the boys' division, Motijheel Government Boys' High School, Mitali Bidyapith High School, South Point School and College, Navy College, Dhaka, Dhaka Government Muslim High School, Nirjhar Cantonment Public School and College, Wills Little Flower School and College and Ideal School and College, Motijheel secured wins over their opponents.

Organised by the Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) and sponsored by Dhaka Ice Cream Industries Limited, the tournament features a total of 25 schools competing across both boys' and girls' divisions.

The plate phase finals are scheduled to be held on Monday (Sept 22).
