Eight more matches of School Handball decided on 3rd day

DHAKA, Sept 20, 2025 (BSS) - Eight more plate phase matches, three of girls' 
and five of boys, were of Polar Ice-cream 29th School Handball tournament 
(boys' and girls') were decided on the third day held at Shaheed Captain M 
Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the capital today (Saturday).

In the girls' division matches, Sher-e Bangla Girls College beat Methodist 
English Medium School by 9-0 goals after leading the first half by 7-0 goals, 
Methodist English Medium School beat Cambrian School and College by 3-0 goals 
after leading the first half by 2-0 goals and South Point School and College 
outclassed Methodist English Medium School by 5-0 goals after dominating the 
first half by 2-0 goals.

In the boys' division matches, Dhaka Govt. Muslim High School beat Wills 
Little Flowers School and College by 15-8 goals after leading the first half 
by 6-4 goals, South Point School and College defeated Juvenile School and 
College by 6-4 goals after dominating the first half by 5-1 goals, Bangladesh 
International School and College Nirjhor beat Navy College by 20-7 goals 
after leading the first half by 11-6 goals, Nirjhar Cantonment Public School, 
College defeated Methodist English Medium School by 13-8 goals after 
dominating the first half by 6-4 goals and the match between Wills Little 
Flower School and College and Motijheel Govt. Boys School was ended 6-6 draw 
through Wills Little Flower led the first half by 4-3 goals. 
  
Organised b BHF and sponsored by Dhaka Ice Cream Industries Limited, a total 
of twenty five schools are participating in the competition in both boy's and 
girl's division.

The final of the plate phase will be held on Monday (Sept 22).
