Nirjhor Cantonment, Wills Little Flower emerge plate phase champions

DHAKA, Sept 22, 2025 (BSS)- Nirjhor Cantonment Public School and College and 
Wills Little Flower School and College emerged plate phase champions in the 
boys' and girls' division respectively in the Polar Ice Cream 29th School 
Handball competition that concluded at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National 
Handball Stadium in the capital today (Monday).

In the boys' division final, Nirjhor Cantonment Public School and College 
defeated Bangladesh International School and College, Nirjhor by 28-25 goals 
after leading the first half by 28-25 goals.

Earlier on way to the final, Nirjhor Cantonment Public School and College 
defeated Motijheel Government Boys High School by 15-06 goals in the first 
semifinal while Bangladesh International School and College, Nirjhor defeated 
Mitali Bidyapith High School by 16-10 goals in the second semis. 

In the girls' division final, Wills Little Flower School and College defeated 
Sher-e-Bangla Girls' College by 3-1 goals after the first half ended 1-1 
draw. 

Earlier, Wills Little Flower School and College defeated South Point School 
and College (Banani) by 3-1 goals in the first semifinal while Sher-e-Bangla 
Girls' College defeated St. Francis Xavier Girls' School and College by 8-5 
goals in the second semis.

After the finals, Bangladesh Handball Federation treasurer Md. Khaled Anwar 
distributed prizes among the winners'.
