DHAKA, Sept 23, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh allrounder Mahedi Hasan insisted that
they need to keep up showing the positive intent and unity as they gear up
for the high voltage clash against India in an Asia Cup Super Fours contest.

The match will take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium
tomorrow.

"There is always room for improvement and I think we could have done better.
But Alhamdulillah, we're happy with what we achieved so far," Mahedi told the
reporters in Dubai after their practice session today.

"We have unity and positive intent. In every match, we saw someone step up
and deliver when it mattered most. That's a very good sign, Mash' Allah. We
need to carry this unity and effort right through to the end of the
tournament."

While the India vs Bangladesh clash generated huge buzz, which remains usual
since Bangladesh beat the closed-door neighbor in 2007 World Cup, Mahedi was
keen to overlook it.

"The hype is not in the back of our mind. It's created more by the media and
the fans," he said.

"It's just a normal match like other International games. We are treating it
like a normal game, which we want to win. Victory is the main target whoever
we meet."
