Bangladesh face Pakistan in1st semifinal tomorrow

DHAKA, Sept 24, 2025 (BSS)- Spirited Bangladesh U-17 National Football Team 
will take on Pakistan in the first semifinal match of the SAFF U-17 
Championship scheduled to be held at Racecourse ground in Colombo, Sri Lanka 
tomorrow (Thursday).

The match kicks off at 3.30 pm Bangladesh time. India meets Nepal in the 
day's second semifinal match that begins at 8 pm (BST).
 
Bangladesh, so far, played a good brand of football in the tournament. They 
beat Nepal and Sri Lanka by an identical margin of 4-0 goals to emerge group 
A champions.

On the other hand, Pakistan beat Bhutan 4-0 in their group opening match, 
defeated Maldives 5-2 in their second match but lost to defending champions 
India by 3-2 goals in their last match of the group to finish group B 
runners-up.

The final of the championship is slated for September 27 at the same venue.
