DHAKA, Oct 14, 2025 (BSS) - Rajshahi and Bogra are set to be the two venues to host Bangladesh Under-19 team’s home series against Afghanistan.

The Afghanistan Under-19 team is likely to arrive in Bangladesh on October 25 to play a five-match Youth ODI series, which will serve both teams for their World Cup preparation.

Ahead of the series, the Afghan youngsters will play two practice matches.  However, Bogra will host the first two matches after which the last three matches will take place in Rajshahi.

Rajshahi earlier hosted South Africa Emerging team in May.

Bangladesh U19 will play the Asia Cup in Nepal this December after the Afghanistan series. The Asia Cup will be followed by the ICC Under-19 World Cup in January 2026 in Zimbabwe and Namibia.

Bangladesh last won the Youth World Cup in 2020 under Akbar Ali’s captaincy.
