Sylhet, Mymensingh draw third straight match in NCL

DHAKA, Nov 11, 2025 (BSS)- The third round match between Sylhet and Rangpur 
ended in a draw today at Cox's Bazar Cricket Stadium.

Resuming the day at 173-5, Sylhet declared the second innings on 294-9, 
setting Rangpur 249 for victory.

Rangpur, however, reached 112-4, when the bails were drawn for the last time 
on Day 4.

The highlight of the day was opener Mubin Ahmed Dishan's 141-run knock amid a 
dull draw. He, however, was the only centurion in the third round NCL game.

Electing to bat first, Sylhet earlier were bowled out for 199 in the first 
innings and conceded 46-run lead when Rangpur were wrapped up for 245.

In the adjacent venue of Cox's Bazar Stadium, the other match between 
Mymensingh and Dhaka also ended in a draw.

Resuming the day at 225-4, Dhaka were all out for 388 in their first innings, 
taking a 52-run lead. Anisul Islam Emon was unbeaten on 79.

Mymensingh then batted 17 overs to reach 97 for no loss as the bails were 
drawn for the final time.

Mahfijul Islam Robin was batting on 51 with Naim Sheikh who made 90 in the 
first innings was on 44.
