Rajshahi Stars emerge unbeaten champion in WFL

DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS)-Rajshahi Stars Football Club (RSFC) emerged unbeaten champions in the Women's Football League (WFL) beating Bangladesh 
Army Sports Club by 3-0 goals held at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city's Kamalapur today (Friday).

Rajshahi was on the verge of becoming the champion. They needed only draw against Bangladesh Army to clinch the title but Rajshahi become the champion 
beating Army and maintained their all-win record with 30 points from 10 matches.

With this defeat, Army Sports Club stand second position in the table with 27 points playing the same number of matches. 

After the barren first half, Alpi Akter finally broke the deadlock scoring the first goal in the 47th minute while Shaheda Akter Ripa doubled the lead 
scoring the second goal in the 58th minute.

Ritu Porna Chakma completed the tally scoring the third goal for Rajshahi in the 86th minute of the match. She was named the player of the match for her 
impressive performance.
