Youth Cricket League to kick off tomorrow

DHAKA, March 29, 2026 (BSS) - The Youth Cricket League's four-day version is 
set to kick-start tomorrow (Monday) to give the young cricketers an exposure 
in the longer version format.

Four teams-Central Zone, East Zone, North Zone and South Zone-will take part 
in the single-league basis tournament with the team acquiring highest points 
will be determined champions.

If two teams accumulate the same points, both will be declared joint-
champions as per the bylaws of the tournament.

Central Zone is formed with the players from Dhaka and Dhaka Metro while 
players of Rajshahi and Rangpur Division are placed in the North Zone.

East Zone has the players of Chattogram and Sylhet Division while South Zone 
is formed with Barishal and Khulna players.

Two venues of Cox's Bazar stadium will be used to hold all matches.

Central Zone will take on South Zone in the main venue of Cox's Bazar Cricket 
Stadium while East Zone face North Zone at Cox's Bazar Cricket Academy in the 
opening game of the tournament, starting tomorrow (Monday).
