DHAKA, Apr 18, 2026 (BSS) - A five-day level-2 elite coaching course, approved by the World Squash and Asian Squash Federation, begins at the Army Squash Complex on Monday (Apr 20).

A total of twelve Level-1 coaches/players from Pakistan, India, China, Hong Kong and Bangladesh will participate in this course.

Conducted under the guidance of Level-3 and special certificated coach Subrahmanyam from Malaysia and Level-3 coach Javed Mohsin from Iran, will be coordinated by level-2 coach Fazle Wali Ahmed from Bangladesh.

The Bangladesh Squash Federation (BSF) has played an important role in reviving and promoting the dying sport over the last four to five years by working tirelessly with very limited resources and few facilities.

They have produced experienced coaches and referees as well as experienced young players. In line with this, the Squash Federation has already completed three Level-1 coaching courses approved by the World Squash Federation.

After the successful completion of this Level-2 course, which is being conducted for the first time, the BSF hoped that a sufficient number of skilled/technical manpower would be created in the country.
