DHAKA, March 2, 2025 (BSS) - Azizur Rahman has been elected as chairman while Mominur Islam has been elected as secretary of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB), Khulna branch, for the term 2025.

The chairman and secretary were elected in the 1st meeting of KBC presided over by its outgoing chairman K. M. Neamul Hoque, held on February 28, said an ICMAB press release here today.

The Council also elected S. M. Zakir Hossain as Vice Chairman and Lawrence Oli Gomes as Treasure of KBC, the release added.

Newly Elected Chaiman Azizur Rahman is serving as branch manager of Eastern Bank PLC, Mongla Branch and S. M. Zakir Hossain working as Deputy Manager Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Ltd.

Besides, Md. Mominur Islam is currently working as Manager, Ircon International Limited and Lawrence Oli Gomes is working as Account in charge of Basundhara Group (Cement unit Mongla Plant. Mongla.
