Govt fixes Tk 6.75 per kg to preserve potato at cold storage

DHAKA, March 02, 2025 (BSS) - The government has set the maximum price for storing potatoes in cold storage at Taka 6.75 per kilogram.

The decision has been revealed in an office order signed by Department of Agricultural Marketing (DAM) Deputy Director Mohammad Reza Ahmed Khan, said a press release here today.

According to Section 16(b) of the Agricultural Marketing Act, 2018, the DAM has fixed a maximum rent of Taka 6.75 per kg for storing potatoes in various cold storages across the country.
