'Bangladesh Finance BIR' unveiled for NRBs

DHAKA, March 5, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Finance has officially launched its latest financial service platform, 'Bangladesh Finance BIR,' exclusively designed for Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs). 

The platform offers exclusive savings and investment facilities in both conventional and Shariah-based models, along with home loans, SME loans, women entrepreneurship loans, and agricultural loans for the account holder and his/her family members. 

As part of the exclusive benefits, customers of Bangladesh Finance BIR will enjoy premium services such as airport pickup and drop-off all around the country, Lounge access and meet-and-greet services at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, and comprehensive health and life insurance coverage.

The grand inauguration ceremony took place at the Economic Reporters' Forum (ERF) in the capital today. The event was graced by Managing Director & CEO of Bangladesh Finance, Md. Kyser Hamid, along with other senior officials of the organization. 

ERF President Doulot Akter Mala and General Secretary Abul Kashem were also present.

Speaking at the event, Md. Kyser Hamid highlighted the significance of 'Bangladesh Finance BIR' in empowering the NRB community. 

He said, "Non-Resident Bangladeshis play a crucial role in our economy through their valuable remittances and investments. Bangladesh Finance BIR is designed to acknowledge their contributions and provide them with superior financial services tailored to their unique needs."
