Remittance inflow witnesses 14.8pc growth in July-August

DHAKA, Aug 31, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed 14.8 percent (pc) growth, reaching US$4,707 million during the period from July 1 to August 30, 2025 which was $4,101 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.

According to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued here today, during the first 30 days of August, 2025, expatriates sent remittances of $2,229 million, which was only $2,187 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
