MYMENSINGH, Jan 9, 2025 (BSS)-   Two persons were killed and one injured while   a motorbike  hit behind a sand-laden truck at Haluaghat  here this morning.

The deceased were identified as Al Aksha, 28, hailed from Dapunia of Mymensingh city, and Shakil, 26,  from Gohailkandi .

“The accident occurred while a speedy motorbike hit a  sand-laden standing truck from  its rear side in front of upazila Fire Services  and Civil Defense office in Haluaghat  left two died on the spot”, Officer  in Charge  (OC) M Abul Khayer of Haluaghat Police Station said.

After receiving information, a rescue team led  by Haluaghat Fire Service team   rushed immediately and rescued two bodies from the spot. The injured other one was admitted to Haluaghtupazila health complex.
