Motorbike accident kills two in Mymensingh

MYMENSINGH, Jan 9, 2025 (BSS) - Two persons were killed and one injured while a motorbike hit behind a sand-laden truck at Haluaghat here this morning.

The deceased were Al Aksha, 28, hailed from Dapunia of Mymensingh city, and Shakil, 26, from Gohailkandi.

"The accident occurred while a speedy motorbike hit a sand-laden standing truck from its rear side in front of upazila Fire Services and Civil Defense office in Haluaghat, leaving two died on the spot", Officer-in- Charge (OC) M Abul Khayer of Haluaghat Police Station said.

Being tipped off, a rescue team led by Haluaghat Fire Service team rushed to the scene and rescued two bodies.
