CHATTOGRAM, Feb 18, 2025 (BSS - A teenage girl was killed after falling off a CNG autorickshaw and then being run over by a bus at Banshkhali here this morning.
 
The deceased was identified as Monika Akhtar, 14, daughter of Nasir Uddin, a resident of Matarbari North Rajghata under Maheshkhali Police Station.

When Monika was on her way to Maheshkhali from Chittagong, she suddenly fell off the vehicle and was run over by a bus in the Habib's Shop area under Banshkhali Upazila around 9 am.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Banshkhali Police Station Saiful Islam stated that locals immediately rushed Monika to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead by the attending doctor.
